Sophos XGS 88 Firewall
A desktop firewall with integrated wireless, useful where you would rather not run separate access points.
The XGS 88 is the model we suggest when a site is small enough that separate wireless access points would be overkill. The built-in dual-band radio means one appliance covers routing, security and Wi-Fi, which keeps both the bill of materials and the number of things that can fail to a minimum.
Sophos Central is where the difference shows. Management, reporting and firmware are handled from a cloud console rather than a local web interface, so a site with no on-site IT still gets a clear picture of what is happening on the network. For multi-site customers, every site appears in the same dashboard.
Choose this over a FortiGate when integrated wireless matters more than raw throughput, or when you already run Sophos elsewhere and want one console for everything.
