Business Standard is the licence most offices actually need. It covers the desktop Office apps, a business mailbox on your own domain, Teams, and a terabyte of OneDrive — the tier below it drops the desktop apps, and the tier above it adds compliance features most SMEs never open.
Buying through a reseller rather than a credit card on the Microsoft site matters for one reason: the licences sit inside a tenant we can administer and, if needed, transfer. Licences bought ad hoc against a personal account are the ones that become impossible to separate when a staff member leaves.
We register the tenant to your organisation, not to an individual, and hand over the global administrator credentials at the end of the project. Onboarding and migration from an existing mail provider is a separate, one-off piece of work we quote alongside.
